The PIYN project 2009 featured aspiring ethnic artists from Auckland, writing an urban soul album and producing a show in Auckland and at WOMAD, as part of the British Council’s Creative Cities and Knowledge Economy programmes in East Asia.

The Project also features the Urban Soul Orchestra from the UK, who co-produced and co-wrote the album and show.

Expect African dance, Chinese Guzheng strings, Palestinian rap, Spanish songs, and much more…… because these are the people in your neighbourhood …
